an activating, ingenious game for you and your dog
DogCasino
The dog should look for treats by pulling out the flaps in different directions. In each flap there is a depression where the treat can be hidden. Increase the degree of difficulty by locking the flaps using the plugs on the top.
Use
Begin by placing treats in all the flaps that can be pulled out. Allow the dog to watch as you put in the treats.
The first few times you can make it a little easier for your dog by not pushing the flap all the way in so that the dog can sense the smell and see a little of the treat. Try to get the dog to push the flap with its nose or paw in order to pull it out.
Once the dog has begun to understand how the flaps work you can make it more difficult by pushing the flaps all the way in before the dog begins looking for the treats.
Increase the degree of difficulty
The next step is to lock some of the flaps using the plugs on the top. The dog then has to learn how to lift up the plugs in order to pull out the flaps. A good tip is to place a treat under a plug. Once the dog has understood how the plug works all the flaps can be locked.
If the dog tries to bite the game or the plug, place your hand over it and stop the game. Once the dog has calmed down allow it to try again. If the dog wants to bite repeatedly, teach it how to work using only its paw. If the dog instead wants to jump on the game and use its paw too violently, teach it to work with its nose. A good tip is to place the DogCasino on a stool which is adapted to the size of the dog and attach a piece of string to the flaps which the dog then needs to pull in order to open the flaps.

Dog Twister: The dog is to learn to look for dogsnacks by moving one disc after the other in different directions. Beneath the discs are depressions where you can hide dogsnacks. The discs can also be locked in position with wooden pegs in little holes between the discs.
Make it more difficult?
... by locking the discs in position by placing the wooden pegs in the holes between the discs. The dog has to learn to loosen the discs by lifting the pegs one by one in order to be able to move the discs and finding the dogsnacks. Start by locking a few of the discs in position. When the dog has learnt what to do, you can lock all the discs in position using all the wooden pegs

Level of difficulty 3:
from easy… to medium… to really difficult…
Easy: Hide treats in all compartments underneath the rotating disc and underneath all the blocks that can be lifted, and let the dog try to find the treats.
Medium: Unscrew the rotating disc and put treats underneath all blocks that lift or slide. The dog has to both lift and slide blocks in order to find the treats.
Difficult: Hide treats underneath all the blocks, both those that slide and those that can be lifted, as well as in all compartments underneath the rotating disc. The dog has to spin the disc to the right position so that block after block is exposed and can be pulled out and thereby reveal the treats.
1. Let the dog watch when you hide treats underneath the blocks. Start by putting treats underneath all blocks, both those that slide and those that can be lifted, as well as all compartments underneath the rotating disc.
2. The dog is supposed to spin the rotating disc to the right position in order to expose and lift block after block, and thereby find all the treats. Start by hiding treats underneath one of the “free” blocks inside the rotating disc, so the dog understands how to work with the block. When you see that the dog understands how the game works, you can place the blocks and the rotating disc so the blocks are not free, and thereby make the dog work harder to find the treats.…..
3. Now you can hide treats without showing your dog how many you hide and where you hide them….
Tips….
If the dog tries to bite or chew on the game, put your hand on it and stop the game. When the dog calms down again, say “go ahead” and let him try again. If the dog repeatedly wants to bite or chew the game, try to teach him to instead work with his paws. If the dog instead wants to pounce on the game and beat excessively with his paws, you can try to teach him to instead work with his nose, for example by putting the game on a chair/stool that is tailored to your dog’s size.
